Welcome!

President’s Message

I bring you greetings on behalf of Lambda Omega Omega Chapter (LOO) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® and the Notable North Atlantic Region. Thank you for visiting our website. Lambda Omega Omega Chapter has a rich history.

Twenty-seven successful graduate members formed a charter group and worked tirelessly for two years to bring this local chapter to fruition. LOO was chartered in 1978 to serve New Jersey communities in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Today, Lambda Omega Omega Chapter is thriving in the areas we serve and making a difference. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is an international organization.

We have Entered a New Era of Sisterhood

Under the leadership of Mrs. Charletta Wilson Jacks, the 2026–2030 International Program of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is Championing Service. Empowering Sisterhood. Transforming the World. It is a bold and transformational call to action designed to strengthen communities, empower families, elevate future leaders, and expand the global impact of service.

Grounded in the organization’s historic mission of Service to All Mankind®, this administration advances a modern, measurable, and member-centered approach to service, one that is flexible enough to meet local community needs while scalable enough to create worldwide impact.

The 2026–2030 program reflects a shared vision for initiatives that are customizable, sustainable, collaborative, and impactful. The result is a comprehensive framework that empowers chapters of every size and capacity to meet the unique needs of their communities while creating lasting global impact.

At the center of this administration’s work is the signature program: AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope.

From Here to Hope is a compassionate call to action designed to uplift vulnerable children and families by addressing immediate needs while creating long-term opportunities for stability, success, and belonging.

LOO is committed to ways to improve lives through purposeful programming and events in service to all mankind. We work collaboratively to maximize our outreach on progressive endeavors. Since its inception, Alpha Kappa Alpha has developed programs to address the needs of others while having a global impact.

If you are a member who wants to connect with our chapter, we welcome you. Please contact us to attend our meetings or events.

I invite you to explore this website further to learn more about how Lambda Omega Omega Chapter is achieving success in advancing the lives of those in the community.

Sisterly in Service,
